PASSENGERS travelling to London on coaches are facing delays and changes to routes caused by the protesting lorry drivers.
The Oxford Bus Company has said it is currently using an alternative route into the capital to bypass the Westway, in west London, where hundreds of hauliers are converging.
The company said it was using the North Circular route into London, which is a marginally longer route.
However, it is currently dropping off at all its stops in central London but warned this may change if the situation worsens.
A spokesman for the company advised passengers to consult drivers when boarding coaches to get the latest information.
Updates will also be made to its website, oxfordbus.co.uk, throughout the day.
From 10am today, police closed a London-bound section of Westway to allow the lorries to park along the road.
The road is due to stay shut on the London-bound carriageway until 4pm, by which time groups of around 20 vehicles will have been escorted by police motorcyclists on a circular route through central London, which will include crossing Westminster Bridge.
