Flooding: Many roads remain closed Print E-mail

Several roads in the Vale of White Horse are affected by flood water this morning.

The A417 is closed at the High Street and Faringdon Road junction in Stanford in the Vale and the A420 is still closed at the B4508 junction at Shrivenham.

All roads around Lyford are blocked.

The B4017 Abingdon Road in Steventon is closed between the Causeway junction and the B4016 High Street junction.

The A415 Marcham Road is just passable at the Marcham interchange with the A34 in Abingdon due to water on the road.

In west Oxfordshire, roads in the Evenlode Valley remain closed due to high water levels, including the A40 at Eynsham roundabout and the A4095 between Bladon and Long Hanborough.

Bridges over the Evenlode on minor roads between Charlbury and Ascott-under-Wychwood are all closed, including the London Lane bridge beyond the railway level crossing in Ascott.
