On 23rd Jan 1965, the new library was opened in Welch way by Mr John Betjeman.
1990 First extension of Witney Library. Introduction of computerised issue system.
1999 second extension of Witney Library. The Mobile library garages at the back of building were used. The west Mobile library was relocated to the Fire station.
