Snow has been falling across much of England for a second day, with freezing fog and black ice expected to add to the disruption caused by the weather.
Snow began to fall across the Midlands on Friday morning, after much of the country was hit by heavy snow on Wednesday night and Thursday.
Yorkshire and the West Country have also been warned to expect heavy snow.
Hundreds of schools have been closed and drivers have been warned to take care with icy patches on roads.
Freezing fog and patches of hidden black ice are also predicted for north-east and south-east England.

At least one person died in a crash on the M27 in Hampshire on Thursday evening, although it was unclear if the weather had been a contributory factor.
Rail companies hope to run normal services on Friday, although points could freeze leading to morning delays.
Airports are also expected to return to normal, but travellers are being warned to take extra time because of a possible backlog.
