I don't think there is a stigma to it at all! For many people, anti-depressants really help.
I've taken them and benefitted greatly! For a long time I resisted help, when I reached my own personal low I was forced to make some changes. Medication being one of them!
I'm not sure what you could do to convince someone who doesn't want convincing. The decision to get help is a very personal one Has your friend spoken to a doctor about his depression or is he in denial?
I don't think there's a stigma to it. Maybe for some 'old school' men, but the rest of us are cool with it I am sure... I wouldn't think any less of someone after I found out they were taking them. Would you?
