This really is not a big story - former great on the wane moves to third rate league... so what? If the yanks want to waste all that cash, that's up to them. How sad a player once considered the best of his generation has moved clubs twice and both times it was for commercial rather than footballing reasons. But then Beckham is a brand and not a player as such. And there is NO WAY the contract is worth as much as they say it is. That's just a hyped up figure to make the headlines. More like £5m per year, I'd suggest. Good luck to you Becks... you were very good once.
