Thanks for the link - this looks like a lovely place to stay. I read a bit about the area - it's kind of sad that the history of weaving didn't carry through to present day. I'm learning to spin and weave, so visiting some places with a long history of fiber work is pretty interesting to me.
And, being a die-hard Rosamund Pilcher fan, anyplace in the Cotswolds is worth visiting!! I can't wait to see what it really looks like, after years of reading books.
If you have other ideas on the highlights of Witney, I'd be very happy to hear about them.

but did you have a look at the on the site on tourist info it has places it would be a good place to start or contact tourist board when you get here they are on high street
