Dear Valued Mywitney Patrons,
As you may have noticed, several weeks of the discussion board posts have disappeared. This is due to a technical blunder with regard to our backups. The automatic backups were not actually happening automatically. We did not find this out until we tried to restore the site after a vandalism event. To our dismay we found out that the only backup available was the last manual backup we performed. That backup was nearly three weeks old. The blood drained from all of our faces and we all felt sick to our stomachs.
The one positive thing from this event is at least we found this out a few weeks into the new backup method, not a few moths or years later.
We appreciate your patience and understanding while we deal with the technical details of running this site for you and the Witney community. Please keep your posts coming. I imagine with all the holidays during this time of year we will all have many good stories to talk about.
