Perhaps more BS from experts, but perhaps also BS from journalists. The chemical they found that does this is found in the skins of grapes... so perhaps you will get the chemical from wine because it is made of grapes... but really you would get more benifit from just eating the grapes themselves...
The scientists didn't put down a trough of wine for the mice....
