Just be careful when running Adware again i have heard many people complain that when they ran and it asked to delete files etc they had lots of problems.
I've used AdAware for about 4 years now and have not had any problems after deleting quarantined files. I like the tool a lot - first, it gave me an easy way to turn off Microsoft's built in messenger, a great back door for hackers.
But I also use a registry checker (Registry First Aid - not free, but relatively cheap) which helps to find some of the more embedded junk.
