Why Is It Difficult To Get Hired In The UK? - 02/09/08 16:48
I'm in the U.S. and have been helping my 20-year-old boyfriend (he lives in Bampton) get hired. I've been looking and applying (for him) even though I'm over 3,000 miles away from him. (Thank goodness for computers and the Internet!!!  )
There's so much rejection in the UK. Heck, I'm I can't even get him hired at the McDonald's in Witney.
What gives?
If my boyfriend was in the U.S. it wouldn't be this hard for him to find work.
Can ya'll tell me why it's so bloody hard to find work in the UK?
P.S. --- If you know of someone in Witney were he can easily get a job, let me know. We've tried everything inluding the temporary/placement agencies in Witney and they aren't helping!!!
