What Impact has smoking ban had? - 01/07/08 07:40It's been a full year since the smoking ban came into force in England on July 1, 2007. What impact has the ban had on your life?
For me I can go to the pub and enjoy a g+t without my clothes needing to be dry-cleaned, so yay for me!

Re:What Impact has smoking ban had? - 01/07/08 09:43As a smoker myself i'm not that bothered about the smoking ban! I smoke less, therefore it's better for me and my pocket, and it's better for everyone else!
No one complains when you go to USA and the hotels etc are non-smoking. So why complain here?

Re:What Impact has smoking ban had? - 02/07/08 07:15It's fantastic. Can go out and not smell disgusting, breathe in someone elses smoke and have to shower to wash out the smell when you come home!
The only negative, is that now you get all the smokers standing in the doorways, which means you get a huge lungfull of smoke entering! They just look pitiful standing there sucking away on a cigarette in any weather! Bless them!

Re:What Impact has smoking ban had? - 02/07/08 08:55I very rarely go out to a pub for a night out anymore, (not that I can afford to these days anyway with the constant increases on the cost of living), and all of the pubs smell of stale sweat, stale beer, urine and vomit, nice... not!!!
