Can private firms improve the NHS? - 05/06/08 11:03 Executives from private companies could be brought in to run failing NHS trusts in England. The government is exploring a range of options, including bringing in managers from better-performing NHS trusts to improve failing hospitals.

Would private sector management run hospitals more efficiently? Does this amount to privatising the NHS?
