Drug testing at schools: your opinions - 16/05/08 08:20 My son's school is introduce a random drug testing policy for which they want our consent.

I'm torn here. It seems like by testing the children they are almost giving them ideas that wouldnt normally occur to them, for a good few years anyway.

On the other hand, it gives them an easy out if there is peer pressure (no I cant, they test for drugs at my school).

I'm guessing I should just sign the consent form, but I can't help but feel that I am being pressured to consent to something that doesnt make me comfortable. I don';t want my little boy thinking about drugs at all!
