Zimbabwe pretends to be a democracy organizing electoral circus.
China is a dictatorship but the west talks very little about them.

Re:Zimbabwe elections: free and fair? - 30/03/08 19:31 Who are we to talk about free and fair elections? Tony Blair was backed by barely 25% of eligible voters and we didn't even get an election of any description before Gordon Bruin was foisted upon us.

At least in Zimbabwe they are being given a choice.

Are you serious??? They clearly haven't been given a choice for the past ten years.

Still no results, I am so dissapointed. I hope this doesn't mean that Mugabe is looking for a way to swing this OBVIOUS outcome?

Re:Zimbabwe elections: free and fair? - 01/04/08 19:31 I think Mr Mugabe should be realistic now. Its not him going through all the hell but the people at the grassroots who do not even understand his policies. Mr Mugabe let the people be free, let them experience change.

Re:Zimbabwe elections: free and fair? - 17/04/08 09:12 Oh my goodness what a mess they have there now! More than 2 weeks have passed and still no result.

Clearly Mugabe lost the election, but instead of bowing out gracefully he is holding the country ransom with more land grabbing, violence and threats. More than 130 farms have been seized from the remaining white farmers.

I hope the world will intervene soon! these poor people have been through enough
