We live in a de facto secular state, with active Christians in a shrinking minority and whilst we should not persecute minorities they should not dictate to the majority.
I've changed my mind - I'm off to gamble!

It's true - the Christians are a shrinking minority and should not be able to dictate to the rest of the population. Good Friday is no different to any other day for many many people, some of these people like to gamble the day (and their money) away, so be it!
I'm guessing there is very little that religious types are going to be able to do about it anyway.
