It's a bit rich for David Cameron to talk about high tax and high interest rates. Perhaps he has forgotten the 'Tory Years' of interest rates as high as 15%
And the new taxes THEY introduced; Insurance Premium Tax, Airport Tax and the disgraceful Community Charge/Poll Tax followed by the inept Council Tax, for example.
As for criticising increases in fuel tax, what exactly are the Tories proposing to combat global warming - less duty on petrol???
