Re:The Secret - 28/02/08 21:35 I haven't seen the movie nor read the book but my friends have and they been in seminar and even one of them, have been on a cruise. Her life went from 8 to 0 in few months. She had so much bad luck she stopped doing whatever she was told in the seminar and after 3 months now she is getting back to normal.

Discoflash I read your website and very interesting points you make so does law of attraction really work?

Don't tease me but... I have a copy of it at home and every now and then I watch it for a boost. It's so comforting to think that I can alter my reality with the power of my mind!

I agree its been horribly commercialized but, if it inspires positive thinking there can't be any harm in it surely?

The reason people are bit skeptical is because the way the secret has been presented to general public.

I have been to few seminars and have met Mike Dooley and Bob Proctor. And I believe that your thoughts makes things (laugh at me if you want to).

What Mike Dooley teaches is awesome and what Bob Proctor teaches is all about law of attraction and his seminars are normally expensive makes me wonder why?

But the bottom line is if you can be positive and have positive thoughts then who knows what your tomorrow will be.

Well said Technoman! I love that possibilities are so infinite While thinking positive might not make me a millionaire (ever LOL), it will open me up to all the glorious possibilities.

The fact that the seminars are so expensive is sadly a reflection of how commercialized the whole concept has become. Not just the concept but the whole 'self-help' movement. People want to lead happier lives and are willing to pay hugely for it.

But so that doesn't lessen the truth in the message. There is enough happiness and fulfilment to go around!

Do you really want to be a millionaire ? Think about it is that really what you need ?
