The Secret - 27/02/08 21:45 I just finnished watching The Secret and am not quite sure what to think.

It's an interesting concept, but hardly a Secret? I was kind of irritated by the cheesey music and style

Has anyone seen it or read about it? What did you think? Can I really be a millionairre just by picturing it clearly in my mind...? Or is it just a bunch of baloney. Common sense packaged as some mystical Secret...

I'm undecided but I know some people feel quite strongly either way. What do you think?

Since the secret came out have you noticed all of sudden there are 1000's of guru's out there promising you to improve your life for $5k sheesh. Everyone seems to have jumped on the bangwagon in case you haven't noticed.

I am not 100% convinced yet that by just Visualization you can change your life. I believe you also need to work towards your goal etc

However i do believe in law of attraction again not 100% but i do believe life is your mirror and you attract what you think of most.

Re:The Secret - 28/02/08 08:06 I saw it too and was not impressed. The publicity explosion that followed was a bit overdone.

The movie has been widely critisized for a number of reasons. Apparently some of the qoutes were incorrect and qouted out of context completely!

Re:The Secret - 28/02/08 17:55 I have seen the movie the secret. For me, the secret is not really a secret because many people know about these things. There are many books written with same principles. The only thing is that the makers have gathered all these ideas and put it in one package.

The reason I believe that the secret is so popular is because it makes people believe they can achieve something without having to really do anything.

If you log on to there websites there is secret lamp, secret this or secret that. And why are all these guru's charging so much money ? Why not give the knowledge away free ??? I Love - Mywitney

Very interesting site Discoflash - you make some very good points! I agree, if you want something(success, marriage or whatever) you have to take steps towards making things happen for yourself!
