Having personally seen the effects of anti-depressants on a close family member, I am of the opinion that they cause greater harm than good in some instances. With a lot of anit-depressant medication there seems to be a process of trial and error to determine which drugs have the least negative side effects such as tremours, headaches, increased feelings of anxiety and depression on the patient. I agree with the decision to have more trained professionals deal with depression via counselling
