Problems England had....
1) They were crap throught out the tournament.
2) The system they were playing wasn't good
3) They didn't have a strong squad.
4) Beckham shouldn't have been playing.
5) Like you said Manager was rubbish and he wasn't really interested in anything.
Now maybe the new England manager will do better as he knows the players betters and also Beckham is no longer a captain 
I think Germany will win the world cup
