[b]I don't know if this makes me feel safer, as the powers-that-be deem it will make me feel, or not --
They're saying now that Brown and his group are hoping to take on these new "terror detention limits"
that would make detainees be held an extra 30 days (to make a total of 58) to keep us better protected.
You can keep them there for 58 years, and they may be innocent.
Or, you can examine who you deem to be "suspects" at these extra-secure airport terminals, ports and MORE THAN 100 OTHER "INSTALLATIONS" with a fine-toothed comb for 58 days, and, when you find nothing, pat them on the back with good cheer and set them on their way.
I mean, how long does it take to find a razor? If it's on his person, it's going to be found sooner than 58 hours, and if not, they've got chimps running the security shows.
Bunch of nonsense, I say. When are we ever "safe" anyway?
